Mission: Save Notes to Speak Up for Animals on Social Media

Tmw when you see a comment on a vegan post like “mmm, bacon.” 😒 It’s beyond annoying when you’re out there trying to save animals and trolls attempt to spam your posts, but sending the right response can totally turn the tables on them.

Why You Should Respond to Trolls

No one wants to deal with obnoxious comments, but sometimes you just gotta clap back, and we support that. 👏 Responding to trolls gives you an opportunity to spread animal rights energy to everyone who sees the comment. At peta2, we’ve become experts at handling trolls. Here are our top three tips for responding to a dumb comment:

  • Link to a peta2 blog to show others that animals are not ours to experiment on, eat, wear, use for entertainment, or abuse in any other way.
  • Stay positive and polite. Even though it can feel hard not to rage, it’s better not to give trolls the satisfaction of knowing that they upset you.
  • Save prewritten responses to common questions in your Notes app that you can copy and paste whenever needed.
