Mission: Share Animal Rights Memes

Being an animal rights advocate isn’t all sweet animals and delicious vegan foods—sometimes it can be more like, “Cool, another bacon joke” and “WTF is wrong with this world????” 🙄 When I find myself feeling hopeless or overwhelmed by the state of the world for animals, it helps to reach out to vegan friends who deal with similar feelings, watch animal rescue videos, or (of course) scroll animal rights memes.

It’s comforting when someone else creates something that perfectly encapsulates a feeling, a thought, or an experience that you may have had—and when you bring humor into the picture, it can feel like a healing experience. Dramatic? Maybe—but memes and their influence deserve some appreciation, right?

Think about it: decades ago, vegan living and animal rights were just beginning to become mainstream. Online resources (like memes, videos, articles, etc.) have seriously helped to reduce our society’s consumption of animals and sparked outrage against animal experimentation, wearing animal fur, feathers, or skin, and confining animals for entertainment. It’s now common knowledge that animals feel pain and want to live, just like us. 💗
