Mission: Don’t Wear Her—Wear These Sheep-Friendly Boots
When your friends and fam make holiday gift lists, they should avoid certain gifts—like boots made from sheep’s skin and wool. 🐑 Help make sure everyone knows to buy only sheep-friendly boots!
Some boots—like UGGs—are made from shearling, the skin and coat of a sheep or lamb who was shorn and slaughtered. Before being killed, sheep who are exploited for their wool or skin are forced to go through hell. Lambs’ ears are hole punched, their tails are chopped or burned off, and the males are crudely castrated. Workers slice chunks of sheep’s skin off, punch them in the face, and shove them down chutes. 😰
Hype Sheep-Friendly Boots
If your loved ones knew that every purchase of wool/shearling boots keeps this disgusting industry in business, they’d be way more likely to opt for vegan boots instead. Urge everyone you know to ditch wool and animal skins to help save some of the most abused animals on the planet and earn 15 peta2 points from our Rewards Program—here’s how:
1. Share this IG post and take a screenshot.
2. Submit your screenshot for 15 peta2 points. (Heads-up: You’ll only get points once for taking this action.)
