Mission: Put Up ‘Missing’ Posters in School to Stop Animal Dissection

Imagine you’re walking down a school hallway when you see a poster taped to the wall: It’s an image of a cat, a pig, or a frog under the word “Missing.” 😲 Wouldn’t that leave you shook? Wouldn’t you want to learn more about the missing animal? This is exactly how you can help others get started on their anti–animal dissection journey!

Why Anti–Animal Dissection?

Animal dissection is cruel, disgusting, and pointless. It’s bad enough when your teacher says you have to slice into a corpse, but that’s only the tip of the iceberg. Where did these dead animals come from, and how did they end up on a dissection tray in your classroom?

Here’s the truth: The animals might have been snatched from their homes in nature, bred in warehouses, or confined to tiny cages on farms for their entire lives. 😨 But no matter where they came from, they were all killed to be dissected. Imagine having your entire life destroyed, being forced to go through extreme suffering, and getting slaughtered—all so that someone could cut into your chemically preserved corpse.

And the ‘Missing’ Posters?

Putting up “Missing” posters with pics of animals in school will 100% catch your classmates’ attention. Feel free to put them up in busy hallways, locker rooms, the cafeteria—wherever it’s allowed. The more students who see these posters, the more anti–animal dissection energy can spread around your school. 🧚

When students walk up to the posters to see what they’re all about, they’ll be hit with some of these hard fax:

  • More than 10 million cats, pigs, and frogs are killed for dissection every year.
  • Most cats who are dissected were bought from shelters, where they were waiting for a new loving home.
  • Fetal pigs who are dissected were often cut from their mother’s womb in the slaughterhouse.
  • Most frogs who are dissected were taken from their home in nature, transported in filthy conditions, killed, and preserved with toxic chemicals.

And the posters do more than just call out animal dissection for ruining lives—they also give a solution that works for everybody. Swapping out animal dissection for humane options like SynFrog or eMind can save countless lives, can provide a more educational experience for students, and is typically way more cost-effective for the school. Talk about a win-win-win. 🤩
