Mission: Use Meat Ingredient Labels to Show Others What They’re Eating

Don’t you think people would be way less likely to choose a hamburger, chicken wings, or pulled pork to eat if they knew about the cruelty and health concerns involved? 😲 We do, too—use our meat ingredient labels to show everyone the ugly truth!

What’s Wrong With Meat?

The meat industry tears calves away from their moms shortly after birth, confines pigs to metal crates with barely enough room to turn around, and breeds chickens to grow so large so quickly that their legs and organs can’t keep up. 😢 At the end of the animals’ short and miserable lives, the meat industry violently slaughters them—all for a meal or snack that could have easily been vegan.

Btw, that meal or snack can be a huge safety concern. Case in point: When animals’ intestines are torn open during slaughter, poop spills out onto their flesh. 😨 That means if you’re eating meat, you’re likely also eating poop—and you may be eating antibiotics, blood, and pus, too. Do we really want those things in our bodies? 🤢 Nooo, thank you.

Make a Difference

Eating meat is bad for everyone—it puts animals through hell and puts consumers at risk. By convincing others to ditch meat, you can help save countless animals and improve your community’s health. 😊 Here’s how to do this (and earn 50 peta2 points in our Rewards Program):

1. Print out these meat ingredient labels (or make your own) and tape them to any meat products your fam has in the kitchen or you see at the store.
