Alexis was always passionate about animals and went vegan after her 10th grade English teacher screened the documentary Earthlings for the class. Now she’s an artivist—an artist who uses creative expression as a vehicle for activism. She joined the peta2 team after being an SOS campus rep in college and interning after graduation. She also works with local art galleries and teaches art to young people. In her free time, she loves creating art in any medium she can get her hands on, reading, exploring nature, and being with her adopted cat, Ty Lung.
