Mission: Show That Chick-fil-A Takes an L for Animals
Chickens are social birds who enjoy taking dust baths and spending time with their fams—but fast-food chains like Chick-fil-A profit from their misery. 😡 Help make it clear that the company takes a huge L for animals!
More chickens are raised and killed for food than all other land animals combined—yet not a single federal law protects them from abuse on farms. Chickens in the “broiler” industry frequently suffer from heart attacks, bacterial infections, leg injuries, and other serious ailments. At the slaughterhouse, they’re shackled upside down, their throats are slit, and they’re put into scalding-hot tanks—and they may even remain conscious throughout this whole process. 😱🐔
How to Help Chickens
Chick-fil-A tries to market to our generation by popping up on college campuses—but we care about animals, so we need to cut the company out of our lives. Help prevent chickens from suffering and earn 25 peta2 points in our Rewards Program at the same time by showing that Chick-fil-A serves up L’s for animals every day. Here’s what to do:
1. Go to a Chick-fil-A restaurant near you and take a pic of your hand in an “L” shape in front of the building. If there isn’t a Chick-fil-A close to you, you can do this in front of a similar chain, like Raising Cane’s or Zaxbys.
2. Post the pic on your IG story and take a screenshot.
3. Submit your screenshot for 25 peta2 points. (Heads-up: You’ll only get points once for taking this action.)
