Mission: MrBeast Glorified Camel Abuse—This Can’t Happen Again

With 363 million YouTube subscribers, MrBeast has a huge influence—so you’ll wanna pull your hair out when you learn that he just glamorized camel abuse. 😨

In his “I Spent 100 Hours Inside The Pyramids!” vid, MrBeast and his crew rode camels along the Giza pyramids. He might not realize it, but camels at the pyramids endure extreme abuse. PETA investigations have found that camels who are sold into the tourism industry are beaten with batons and have their testicles prodded. 😱 Not a good look, Jimmy.

Even when they aren’t being beaten, camels at the pyramids are forced to be props for pics in the blistering heat without food or enough shade. MrBeast and his friends 100% treated the camels they rode as props—MrBeast teased a camel with his hand after being told they could bite and laughed. It’s no laughing matter for the camels—after a lifetime of exploitation, many are sold to slaughterhouses to become slabs of meat.

This cruelty will only continue as long as tourists pay for camel rides. If we keep our cash away, no one will be incentivized to harm camels—but MrBeast’s vid sends the message that this kind of tourism is okay. 😡 Well, it’s not okay with us.
