Mission: Dairy Kills Male Cows, Too—Speak Out Against Veal!
Ever heard of veal, aka a young cow’s flesh?
Let this sink in: Male cows are considered useless to the dairy industry since they don’t produce milk, so they’re usually dragged away from their moms a day after birth and confined to absurdly tiny crates to keep them from developing muscle. And the females? They’re forcibly impregnated to churn out more babies who will be torn away from them so that a human in a grocery aisle can buy their milk. 😰
Back to the boys: The industry sometimes chains calves so they can’t move because the lack of muscle keeps veal tender and “gourmet.” 🤢 They’re even fed a diet that’s purposely low in iron to make them anemic so that their flesh stays pale (wtaf). Baby cows raised for veal spend their whole short lives unable to move around comfortably, terrified, and desperate for their moms. And then they die—slaughterhouse workers hang them upside down by one leg and slit their throats. 😡

Speak Out Against Veal
Male calves are forced to suffer and die bc humans will pay higher prices for soft, pale calf flesh. This injustice will only end when we cut veal—and dairy (every glass of milk supports the veal industry)—out of our lives. Here’s how to speak up for male calves and earn 15 peta2 points from our Rewards Program at the same time:
1. Share this anti-veal vid on IG and take a screenshot.
