What Is peta2?
peta2 exists to help young people like you make meaningful changes for animals in their everyday lives. We offer resources and recipes on vegan living, cruelty-free shopping guides, animal rights news, and other tips to help you on your journey to compassionate living.
Our Mission
We believe that it’s wrong to hurt animals. They aren’t test tubes, dinner, clothing, entertainment, or anything else for us to use—they’re individuals who can feel pain and suffer, just like us. YOU hold the power to make a huge difference for them, and we’re here to help you every step of the way.
Get Involved
peta2 has all the info you need to learn more about animal rights, speak up for animals, and start living more compassionately. Here’s how you can get involved:
- Sign up for e-mail alerts to stay looped in on what’s happening and to get tips on ways you can make a difference for animals.
- peta2 Rewards: With the peta2 Rewards Program, you have a chance every day to raise awareness, help animals, rack up peta2 points, and cash them in for animal rights merch and other rewards. Think exclusive T-shirts, stickers, laptop sleeves, joggers, and more.
- peta2 Advanced Internship: peta2 offers an advanced internship program that’s open to social media–savvy college students who are passionate animal rights activists! Gain valuable career experience as you work to help other young people make meaningful changes for animals in their everyday lives.
- Tour With peta2: Speak up for animals by touring with peta2! Seasonal full-time positions offer the opportunity to travel the country; set up engaging displays at schools, concerts, and music festivals; connect with other young people; and raise awareness of important animal rights issues.
- peta2 Youth Advisory Board: Want to change the world for animals, learn how to be an effective advocate, and make peta2 even better? The peta2 Youth Advisory Board is for you! We’re looking for dedicated, passionate, and outgoing activists to lead the movement and weigh in on things like campaigns, sticker designs, merchandise, and more—and help us create content that will reach other young people on social media and beyond.

Who Is peta2 For?
Whether this is the first time you’ve heard of animal rights or you’re a lifelong vegan, anyone who cares about animals—whether they’re in middle school, high school, or college; Black, white, or brown; or male, female, or nonbinary—is welcome at peta2. Everyone deserves respect, and just as we speak out against the evils of racism, sexism, and homophobia, we can speak out against speciesism, the misguided believe that other animal species are inferior to humans. And together, we can end this injustice.
