The goddess Ishtar sent down the Bull of Heaven to kill Gilgamesh. He and Enkidu killed the Bull, and so the gods condemned Enkidu to death. Animals forced to participate in today’s rodeos aren’t aggressive by nature. They’re provoked into crazed behavior with electric prods, sharp spurs, and painful bucking straps. Save the Bull by never going to a rodeo or any other event that uses animals as entertainment.
